Santa Fe Grande is a medium-heat Capsicum annuum variety introduced to American gardeners by Peto Seeds in 1965. The conical, 3.5-inch fruits ripen from pale yellow through orange to red and carry a pleasantly mild-to-moderate heat with a slightly sweet flavor. They are notably resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and are especially popular for pickling and fresh salsas.
