Carmen is an F1 hybrid Corno di Toro-type sweet pepper developed by Johnny's Selected Seeds that won an All-America Selections award in 2006. Its tapered, bull's-horn-shaped fruits average 15 cm long, ripen from green to a deep Italian red, and develop an exceptionally sweet, fruity flavor — particularly when fully ripe — making them excellent for roasting or eating fresh. The variety is known for early production, upright plants, and consistent performance across diverse growing conditions.
